Hello families,
I hope you are all doing well. I am. I am, also, very anxious to get back to the classroom. Miles and Emmett are doing great. I no longer dread the nights. And, now I feel as though I can do, most, anything. I have a new found appreciation for all of you. This is tough work!
First of all, I have decided to start using this blog. This will be a way for you to get a better idea of what's going on in the classroom. When the students are trained, they will be in charge of updating the blog. I realize this is a public site, so students names will never appear. Only with your consent will students show up on the blogger videos. The reason for videos is to be able to demonstrate lessons and concepts to you, the families. Students might be used for demonstration and modeling of classroom activities.
The blog may also be a good communicator for all of you. Speaking of communicating, I have decided to set up conferences during the first two weeks of January. A conference sheet will be posted in the next day or two. Saturday the 8th will be the only weekend day, all other conferences will occur in the morning and afternoon. Again, times slots will be posted.
Please remember to communicate with me via email, I don't think I will be able to keep up with postings from all of the families.
